Yukon river Trip

Our Yukon River Trip will give you a view of the splendor and beauty of the Yukon as only viewed from the Yukon River. You will see remnants of the Klondike Gold Rush and learn its effect on the First Nations. You choose the pace; your trip can take 4 - 10 days.

For thousands of years the Yukon River has been the heart of the traditional lifestyle for First Nations. You will travel through the lands of the Kwanlin Dün, Ta'an Kwäch'än, Little Salmon Carmacks First Nation, Selkirk First Nation, and
Tr'ondëk Hwëch'in. Some of the historical sites you will have an opportunity to visit are: An Ta'an Kwäch'än heritage site on Lake Laberge; Hootalinqua; 17 Mile Wood Camp; and Fort Selkirk

Your Yukon River Trip begins in
Yukon, and finishes in historic Dawson City. You will travel the Yukon River by day and camp along its shoreline at night.

You will travel the entire 50km length of Lake Laberge made famous by
Robert W. Service in his poem '
The Cremation of Sam McGee'.

Imagine relaxing while drifting along the rivers current or the exciting run through the 'Five Finger Rapids'.

The landscape of granite rock and high sandy cliffs will leave you breathless. Keep your camera ready - you never know when you will spot wildlife such as Beavers, Moose, Bears, and Dhal Sheep. Birds you may see include Eagles, Grey Hawks, and migratory waterfowl.

By the end of your Yukon River Trip, you will wish you could do it all again and you will have memories to cherish forever!
